We want to share our UEFN Revenue Strategy (where we expect our revenue to come from) and how we plan on keeping it player first.

Now that we're getting closer to the release of our first UEFN project (The Minigame Collection) I want to share how we plan on getting revenue from our experiences while keeping everything we do player focused. Epic Games has recently added the ability to sell items in player published islands, which is great and it helps creators earn extra revenue from their games which I am all for. But for what we're making and how our team is structured, we will not be using this new feature and 100% of our revenue will come directly from the engagement pay-out program and the creator code program. This means in our experiences & games, there will be no way for players to spend V-Bucks or real world money, as everything in our games will be earnable exclusively by playing the game and progressing their systems. So there will be no premium purchases of items, advantages for players, cosmetics, features or content in our games. Everything can only be earned in game, by playing the game. We feel this gives players a better sense of achievement when unlocking something they've worked so hard for and invested a lot of time in, we want to reward that dedication and time investment without having alternative ways for players to bypass that feel of progression and achievement by paying for it.

As our mission states, we want to make innovative games for millions of players and those same players are what drives us when it comes to making experiences and games, we want to respect your time investment and dedication to our projects. With the systems Epic Games has set up for creator freedom, even down to how they earn revenue, this makes it possible for us to not need to add unnecessary microtransactions to our experiences and games, so kudos to Epic Games for allowing choice and freedom for creators. We look forward to sharing the first look at The Minigame Collection very, VERY soon, we won't give dates just yet but what I will say is keep an eye on our socials, it's been a long time coming. Thanks for reading!
